Privacy policy
Short, because this site collects very little.

Who is responsible
Md. Rajib Hawlader, trading as NeuroLearn AI, is the data controller for neurolearnai.uk. Data protection enquiries: privacy@neurolearnai.uk.
What is collected today
There are currently no accounts on this site. Your course progress, your name and any certificate you earn are stored in your own browser, in localStorage, and are never sent to us — with one exception, below.
- Progress and profile — the name you enter, lessons completed, assessment attempts and certificates. Stored only in your browser. Clearing your browser data deletes it permanently, and we cannot restore it.
- Certificate records — when a certificate is issued, the holder name, course, score, date and certificate ID are sent to our server so the certificate can be verified from other devices.
- Request logs — standard server logs kept briefly for reliability and abuse prevention.
The public register — please read this one
Issuing a certificate publishes the holder’s name, course, score and date to a page that anyone with the certificate ID can read. That is the purpose of the certificate: it is only useful because a stranger can check it. If you would rather your name were not published, do not claim a certificate, or write to privacy@neurolearnai.uk and we will remove the record.
Lawful bases
- Contract — issuing and verifying a certificate you asked for.
- Legitimate interests — keeping the site working and preventing abuse, using aggregate, non-identifying measurement.
How long it is kept
Certificate records are kept indefinitely, because a certificate that stops verifying is worthless to the person holding it. Everything else is either in your own browser or is a short-lived log. You can have your certificate record erased at any time, which makes that certificate stop verifying.
Who processes it
Cloudflare hosts this site and stores the certificate register, acting as our processor. Nothing is sold, and nothing is shared for advertising. There are no third-party advertising or profiling trackers on this site — see cookies.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask for access to your data, correction of it, erasure of it, a portable copy, or that we stop a particular use. Write to privacy@neurolearnai.uk. For anything stored only in your browser, you already hold it and can clear it yourself at any time.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled a request you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint, or on 0303 123 1113.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If a child has entered a name here, write to privacy@neurolearnai.uk and it will be removed.
When this will change
Accounts and server-side progress are planned. When they arrive this policy will be updated before the change ships, not after, and the date above will move.
