Questions, answered plainly
Including the ones a site awarding certificates would rather not be asked.
Are the courses and certificates really free?
Yes. Every course, lesson, assessment and certificate is free, with no paywall and no credit card. You do not need an account to read the material.
Is NeuroLearn AI accredited?
No. We are an independent course provider, not an accredited or regulated awarding body, and our certificates are not regulated qualifications. A certificate records that you completed a free online course here and passed its assessment. The credential status page sets out exactly what that does and does not mean.
Will an employer accept this certificate?
That is entirely up to them, and we make no promise either way. What a certificate gives you is something checkable: an employer can enter its ID and see the course, the score and the date. Treat it as evidence you studied the material, not as a qualification.
How does the assessment work?
Each course ends in a timed, multiple-choice assessment. You need 80% or above to pass, and 95% or above earns "Honors with Distinction". It is taken online, remotely and unsupervised. If you do not pass, you can review your weaker areas and retake it.
How does someone verify my certificate?
Every certificate carries a unique ID such as AICERT-2026-XXXX-XXXX. Anyone can enter it at neurolearnai.uk/verify, or scan the QR code printed on the certificate, and see the holder name, course, score and issue date.
Is my name published anywhere?
Yes, if you claim a certificate. Issuing one publishes your name, course, score and date to a page anyone with the certificate ID can read — that is what makes it verifiable. If you would rather it were not published, do not claim a certificate, or ask us to remove the record.
Can I download it as a PDF or image?
Yes. On passing you get an immediate 4K PNG and a print-quality PDF, suitable for a CV or portfolio. Download and keep a copy — this is a free service and you should not rely on it being available forever.
Can I add it to LinkedIn?
Yes. There is an "Add to LinkedIn" button that fills in the certificate name, the issuing organisation, the issue date and the public verification URL, and a "Post" button that prepares a feed post with the credential card.
Who writes the courses?
NeuroLearn AI is built and maintained by a team of AI scientists and engineers. Each course credits its own author on the course page, and every certificate carries a single named signatory. Until August 2026 this site listed four instructors who did not exist, illustrated with stock photographs of real people; they have been removed.
What happens to my progress if I clear my browser?
It is lost, and we cannot restore it. Progress is currently stored only in your own browser. Accounts and server-side progress are planned. A certificate you have already claimed keeps verifying, because that record is stored on our server.
How do I get my data deleted?
Progress lives in your browser — clear site data, or use "Reset progress" on the dashboard. For a certificate record on our server, email privacy@neurolearnai.uk and we will remove it. Removing it means that certificate stops verifying.
